International competition of student scientific works “Black Sea Science” is held annually on the basis of the Odesa National University of Technology under the auspices of the Black Sea Universities Network and ISEKI-Food Association
In 2024, the jury of the competition included 144 specialists, including 92 from 23 foreign countries: Angola, Benin, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Great Britain, Greece, China, Turkey, Oman, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Estonia, Croatia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Georgia, Romania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Moldova.
Registration of participants and submission of works for the first stage of the competition lasted until February 1, 2024. At the first stage of the competition, 358 works from Ukrainian and foreign institutions have been accepted, including those from the universities of Oman, Lithuania, Germany, Serbia, Poland, Romania, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Moldova, Uzbekistan.
At the first stage of the competition, there was a review of scientific papers by members of the jury and their discussion in online meetings. In each field, the finalists have been determined (25% of peer-reviewed works according to the rating). They were invited to participate in the second stage of the competition.

The second stage of the competition lasted from March 21 to 29, 2024. Finalists were invited to present their work at an online conference. Based on the results of the presentation and the participant’s report, the jury chose the winners.

All participants and their scientific advisors are rewarded with certificates. The works of the winners (if they wish) are published in the proceedings of the competition.
